According to Animation Director Rob Coleman, not a single clone trooper suit was ever built. Every single clone trooper seen in the film is computer generated, with motion capture performed by ILM employees, wearing only the helmet and sometimes the footwear of the suit. The rest is complete CG.

David Hyde Pierce did the voice of Abe Sapien in Hellboy (2004), while Doug Jones played the physical part. For Hellboy II, Jones also does the voice. The reason is because the producers hoped Pierce’s name would make the first film a box-office smash. But he refused to be credited because he felt Abe Sapien was Jones’ work.

The first day that she shot a scene involving Jones the cat, Sigourney Weaver’s skin started reacting badly. Horrified, the young actress immediately thought that she might be allergic to cats, and that it would be easier for the production to recast her. As it transpired, Weaver was reacting to glycerin sprayed on her skin to make her look hot and sweaty.
Daniel Radcliffe can’t tolerate contact lenses, so in the scene where Harry is possessed, his eyes are digitally changed.

The actual undersea footage was shot in the Bahamas in the same location that was used for the silent 1916 version of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
